world where training is imparted to aspiring Staff Officers

History of DSSC. The history of the
Staff College dates back to 1905, when it
was started in a temporary location at Devlali near
Bombay. In Oct 1947, after partition, the Indian portion
of the Staff College moved to its present location at
Wellington.
